Real Definition Of Raksha Bandhan

Real Definition Of Raksha Bandhan

Raksha Bandhan is an ancient tradition which is known as at that time (Vedik Kaal) Raksha Sutraa . Any Women who feels insecure can tie this Raksha Sutra to the person which she feels brave or who can give her protection and the person can be anybody like her Brother, Father, Husband or Friend. At the time when Muslims were invading the India the Hindu peoples make that tradition only in brothers and Sisters for the sake for their offspring (especially Girls) to protect them from the Muslims. Even today in any Hindu ritual (Like Yagya, Puja, Hawan, etc.) they first tie the Raksha Sutra known as Red Moli in the Right Hand for protection from the Evil Spirits. First Raksha Sutra was tied by Queen Shachi To King Indra (they are husband & Wife in Deva Loka).
